He’ll share behind-the-scenes stories and insights from award winning recordings including Handel’s Messiah with Dunedin Consort, Mozart Symphonies 38–41 with Sir Charles Mackerras and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, but also classical collaborations with some surprising artists, from Paul McCartney to Jon Lord.

Phil will guide you through the evolution of classical music and explore what makes these works – and their recordings – truly timeless.

For the first time in Ireland we will be playing the very latest improvements to the iconic Linn LP12 turntable.

These include the super dense Bedrok plinth, the super rigid Keel SE sub-chassis and the super advanced Klimax Radikal 3 motor controller. Of course, it wouldn't be Klimax level without also having the Ekos SE tonearm and the Ekstatik cartridge.

At the other end of the system are the Linn Klimax 360 speakers in passive configuration driven by the brand new Klimax Solo 500 power amplifiers, again incorporating the latest advances where Adaptive Bias Control gives Linn a quantum leap in performance over other power amplifiers.

The other source we will use is the Klimax DSM streamer and preamplifier featuring Organik DAC technology.

There is so much going on with this system that a special presenter will be needed.

Here we have also pushed the boat out as Linn's CEO, Gilad Tiefenbrun, will be here to answer all your questions and play you some of his favourite tunes.

There will be time slots available during the day for private demonstrations, Gilad's presentation starting from 7.30pm.
